The French Club includes all of the students taking French, taught by Mrs. Casto. From the Freshmen in French I to the Seniors in French IV, every member participates in the yearly holiday celebrations and daily activities held in the French room. Vive La France!

Activities

During the week of February 21-24, French Club students will be learning about Mardi Gras. They will indulge themselves in King Cake, candy, and Cajun (Dirty) Rice, while playing games in celebration of this French holiday. Students will also be taught and tested about Mardi Gras and the rest of the Lenten Season.

The Seniors in French IV have declared a prank war on the other Seniors in Spanish IV. So far, they have raided the Spanish room, as well as decorating the Spanish room door in papers that read "Vive La France!". The Spanish Seniors counter-attacked, and the prank war continues. Currently, the French IV Seniors are debating their next plans.

Mrs. Casto is currently organizing a trip to France during July of 2012. Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors, alumni, and parents are all welcome. Please contact the school to speak to Mrs. Casto for more information.
